Kim Range Truesdale, Owner. Kim has been surrounded by dogs her entire life. Her family breeds Labrador retrievers and she currently lives with Zeke, a yellow lab, and Pepper, a lab and border collie mix (both of whom hog the bed at night!) Kim gained valuable knowledge of dogs from her grandmother who participated in national field trial championships during the 1960′s and 70′s. Kim worked on Capitol Hill for 6 years and then traveled around the country coordinating trade show expositions. She left the “9 to 5” world to start Happy Hounds. Kim’s philosophy is and always will be that Happy Hounds MUST be the “Nordstrom’s” of dog walking and pet sitting businesses.
Sarah Chillo has been with Happy Hounds for over a year and currently is getting her teaching certificate at American University. She lives with her pet family which includes Diego, the boxer mix, and her cats Shamus and Culllum. She is currently in the process of adopting Ghost, a white boxer.

Bobbie Chalou has also been with Happy Hounds for over a year and loves to walk dogs in the freezing cold weather since she hails from Maine. She was a nurse and a massage therapist before joining our team. She currently lives with 5 cats but has had big and little dogs throughout her life.

Alison Rivas is a native Arlingtonian so she really knows her way around town and she’s great with dogs too! She grew up with two mixed breed dogs and is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree while working for Happy Hounds.

Ryan Dean Halbrook walks dogs on his two days off from the Kennedy Center where he is in sales. He currently is pursuing a writing career and does acting in the area too.

Dena Kolb walks dogs each day before she heads off to her part time job in the office of the Woodbridge Theater, where she is also an actress.

We also have a host of weekend pet sitting staff with 9-5 jobs who especially love to help walk the dogs and take care of the cats on the weekends, because they often don’t live in places where they can have pets.
